We were approached by Cherry Grove Realty in 2001 to do a free valuation on our house in Beverley Gardens for Capital Gains Tax purposes. The service they gave at the time convinced me that, were we ever to sell, we would contact them first.
When we decided to sell our house this year, I approached them and was very pleased with the professional and friendly attitude of both Brian Bayett, the owner of the Company and his wife, Tracy. They gave us an assessment on our house and proceeded to market it for us. We had several ‘show days’ which are never easy for a homeowner, but Brian made us feel very comfortable about the process. We were contacted after the show day, each time to inform us on the follow-ups they had made with interested parties. After a few months, which were relatively pain-free, we received an offer very close to the asking price, and we decided to accept it. Brian was kind enough to visit the new property we were interested in buying, to give his professional assessment of its suitability. His advice in this regard was invaluable.
The negotiations of the sale were handled very professionally by both Brian and Tracy and the procedure was explained to us clearly. They visited us on several occasions to explain certain aspects of the agreement and were available at all times on e mail or telephone to answer questions. Tracy has been most helpful to me in obtaining the correct information for our new house, which she had no part in selling to us. She has guided me through the minefield of arranging a new electricity connection, and has been supportive in every way.
I can highly recommend Cherry Grove Realty to anyone wishing to have a pleasant selling or buying experience.
